That means view RP and PvP, in the context of roleplaying a Kul Tiran Marine, to be inexorably linked. We are almost always in War Mode, unless we're attending a third party's RP event where War Mode is "off" is the rule per the organizers.
For many of us, it would be immersion-breaking if we ran into an Orc war party and are unable to slaughter them all with glee, or if some Horde are attacking Alliance or Kul Tiran NPCs and we're unable to repel the attack.
We prescribe to the philosphy of Lord Admiral Daelin Proudmoore that refuses to believe that Orcs and their kin can live with us in peace, and so we have two goals in mind:
2. Extermination of the Orcs as an invasive, parasitic species. We believe that the Orcs do not belong on our world. They are also the backbone of the Horde, and thus eliminating them would break the back of the Horde's power base, leading to it's disbanding back into the various tribes and clans that by themselves do not pose an existential threat to the civilized nations of Azeroth.
OOC we know that it's impossible to exterminate the Orcs and dismantle the Horde due to the nature of multiplayer games, but IC our Marines would not be aware of such things. They'd see an Orc or some other savage and it's time to get to work - and that means engaging in PvP and killing every last one of those greenskinned sons of bitches and the rest of the savages, traitors and degenerates that make up the Horde.
We do stuff other than just traditional RP. We enjoy all aspects of the game, be it RP, PvP and PvE with a group of like-minded friends. We play on a casual level and enjoy the things in this game that don't require "serious" time commitments that are incompatible with real-world responsibilities. As such, we keep these OOC goals in mind:
Prioritize real-life obligations and responsibilities over min/max gameplay pressures and the toxicity these pressure can breed.
Maintain a strong Alliance-focused RP community but also engage the Horde-side RP community through our Horde charter. This also giving our members a way to enjoy that side of the story within an Alliance-loyal context.
